Sorry. What we do not do is the “official” photographs for weddings or receptions. For your “official” photos please contact the many excellent photographers who specialize in weddings and receptions.
What we do is get the photos of your wedding or reception that the “pro” might miss. While the “pro” is busy getting great photos of the bride and groom, we will be getting some additional photos from a different angle. We will also be getting “documentary” (photojournalistic, or sometimes called candid) style photos of the rest of the guests, activities, events, facilities, etc., so you can later see what else was going on at the time. Think of us as being like the “pro’s” second photographer, except that we are probably lower priced than the pro’s second.
Another advantage to you for using our services in addition to the “pro” is that with our use of the “Creative Commons” copyleft, you are free to make copies of our photos where ever, when ever, and in what ever quantity that you desire. There is no additional fee nor do you need any additional permission.
But with a “pro” photographer, your contract with them often restricts or prohibits your making copies, so you must either pay to get your additional copies from them, or get their permission to have copies made elsewhere.
We photography only in the six coastal counties of Southern Mississippi, and nearby adjacent areas of Alabama and Louisiana.
Be aware, however, that couples who ask for photojournalistic style of photography and who are having the ceremony videotaped, should remember that the photographer(s) will probably be in your video at least a little bit.
What we do...
Some combination of panorama, wide-angle, large and/or small (non-posed) group, individual, and close-up photos of the people and items at your rehearsal, wedding, or reception, etc., including shots taken outside, inside, preparation areas, your guests, general area/location “establishing” shots, etc.
Please be sure to read what we don’t do.
What you get...
The number and type of photos taken per hour at your event will vary depending on weather, the size of the room, the number of guests, etc., but will be at least 30 photos per hour (usually 60 or more).
The photos are burned on your choice of a CD-R or DVD+/-R (please specify). Sorry, the files on a ZIP disk is not available.
Note that editing the photos is not included as a part of the photography.
Please see important note about color.
